Two numbers in inches. The first sets the band, the gap between them sets the cup. We check the result against every chart in the catalogue and show what is cut in it.

Snug around the ribs, on a full exhale.

Across the fullest point, tape resting, not pulled.

What the finder is doing

All 11 size charts in this catalogue print the same numbers. They differ only in how far they run, so one rule covers the whole range: band comes off the under bust measurement, cup comes off the difference between over bust and under bust. A 4.7 inch gap is an A, and each letter after that adds roughly an inch.

Because the rule is shared, the finder also counts how many of our 100 charted colourways carry the size it gives you. Coverage is uneven. 34B appears in 100 of them, 48K in 60.

If your two numbers land between rows, we round to the nearest. Bras are elastic, and a band that reads half an inch off will still sit correctly once the hooks are on the loosest row.

Fit finder questions

Do I round my under bust up to an even number?

Not for our chart. Put in what the tape reads, including half inches, and the finder picks the nearest band we cut. Rounding is a rule for charts that only print even numbers.

The finder gave me a size I have never worn. Now what?

Check the sister sizes it lists underneath. A 38D and a 36DD hold the same cup volume on different bands, so if one feels wrong around the ribs the other usually solves it.

Why does the same size appear in some models and not others?

We do not cut every model across the full grid. A strapless stops at a J because the band has to do all the work, while our front-closure lace runs the whole way to K. The finder tells you how many colourways carry your size.

Are these body measurements or garment measurements?

Body. Both numbers are taken on you with a tape, not on the bra laid flat. The finder converts them into our band and cup, which is what the listing sells by.
