How this one is put together

Plush front closure
A column of coated metal hooks fastens down the center front. The padded fabric backing cushions your skin, keeping the metal from pressing in when you sit forward or bend down.
Pure cotton cup lining
Each unlined cup has a thin layer of pure cotton against the skin. It absorbs moisture and prevents the outer black lace from chafing across sensitive tissue throughout long days.
Criss cross elastic back
Broad elastic bands cross in an X shape across the shoulder blades. This pulls the wide straps inward to stop slipping while spreading the weight of a heavy bust across your upper back.
Extra wide underband
A deep lower band anchors the frame securely against the ribs without a wire. It holds the cups in place, preventing shifting or riding up when you reach overhead.

Getting the size right

Take a snug under bust measurement on a full exhale, then an over bust measurement with the tape resting. The gap between the two sets your cup letter.
